This vintage Chaput kilim measuring 230 x 170 cm was hand-woven in two wings by farmers in Central Anatolia in the 1960s and then sewn together in the middle. Therefore, if necessary, you can easily separate it in the middle. Then you would have 2 parts each 100 x 0.50cm available. The materials are old cotton, wool and goat hair. In its very good condition, it adorns the floors of your apartment rooms as a hard-wearing textile. You can and should walk this chaput with joy for many years to come. Lovers of sustainable living will have a lot of fun with this beautiful and decorative chaput. Due to its simplicity, this kilim can be integrated into any furnishing style. When used on the floor, the kilim is very grateful and does not require any special care. Simply vacuum if necessary. This one-of-a-kind item, around 40 years old, is packed ready for use.
Vintage kilims and rugs are handmade and may show fading, stains, colour variations and signs of old repairs.
